IN THE ROLE OF IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL:
- Perform server administration tasks; analyze alerts and event log errors; and monitor resources to ensure seamless operation of system architecture components.
- Monitor system status using existing management tools and respond to hardware incidents as they arise; assist in building, testing, and maintaining new servers when necessary.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptops and desktops, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, internet support, internal networks, LAN, WAN, and network segments.
- Provide assistance to support teams and other groups in troubleshooting incidents to identify root causes and provide technical support as needed.
- Conduct regular checks and follow schedules for all systems, including backups.
- Manage and administer the company’s websites, ensuring their proper functionality, security, and performance.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- College or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, System Administration, or closely related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or system administration.
- Proficiency in working with virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
- Certifications in system administration and IT in Linux, Microsoft, or related networking fields are advantageous.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
